Terms of use
Last updated: [date]
These terms apply to your use of Xadov, operated by Pro Geomatics ("we"). By generating or buying datasets you agree to them. Contact: [contact email].
What Xadov provides
Xadov generates land-cover training points for an area and year you choose, from satellite imagery and other public datasets. Labels are generated automatically and quality-screened. They are not human-verified ground truth. Published accuracy figures describe performance on reference data and will vary by place and year. You are responsible for checking that a dataset is fit for your purpose, especially for decisions with legal, financial or safety consequences.
Free datasets and paid runs
- Free datasets are limited in number, area and points per class, and may be withdrawn or changed at any time.
- Paid runs use credits by area, within the limits shown at purchase.
- If a run fails, its credits are returned to your balance. Re-downloading a finished dataset is free while it is stored.
- Generated datasets are stored for 60 days and then deleted. Download and keep your copy.
- Credits are stored with your browser. If you clear cookies or change device, contact us with your purchase email and we will help restore them.
- Refunds for unused credits: [refund policy, e.g. on request within 14 days of purchase].
Using the data
You may use, modify and share datasets you generate, including commercially, provided you keep the data credits listed in each dataset's README, as some of our sources' licences require.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to get around free-trial or usage limits (for example by automating requests or creating many sessions), overload the service, or try to extract how Xadov works. We may block access for misuse.
No warranty and limited liability
Xadov is provided "as is", without warranties of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
